The digital artist uses a variable approach to his art, rather than staying real, he chooses a variety of views to express his inner thoughts. He usually loves to do abstract, typography, symbolic, geometric, swiss and other types of art.
He loves to do gradient (his favourite), vector and typography. There is a lot to explore, he would love to learn a lot and explore the coming trends in the market.
‘The growing importance of visual art has spoken for itself’, says Rahul. He also believes that man is so busy in his daily routine that even one look at art can tell the whole story.
Visual art is something that’s appealing to the eye and can tell a story to remember and change the perspective in today’s generation for the good. The value of editorial and conceptual illustration has been an important phase in today’s world and it can even humour or make an impact on a life believes the artist.
Khobragade did his ATD (Art Teacher Diploma) and then graduated in Applied Arts, he later acquired a Masters Degree specialising in illustration from Government Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya (Government College of Art and Design now).
Rahul does not prefer any typical working process, he hates routines. Digitally, he prefers gradient, fluorescent and transparent colours. Some of the software he fancies are Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter and Corel Draw.
The artist loves to play cricket, watch movies, travel and munching on non-vegetarian foods when he’s not creating.
Rahul feels it’s very important to sketch and paint which helps to develop one’s skills, ultimately help in working at speed in digital art. Inspiration is always good as long as one’s own style is also being developed. Copying someone’s work is a big no-no when it comes to creating art.
‘If you have dreamed of being an artist, you can always achieve if you choose to believe in yourself and practice harder’, advises Rahul Khobragade.
